Proposal settings: Resource Code Mapping

The Resource Code Mapping tab is only accessible to the responsibility assignment administrators selected on the Configuration tab. On the Resource Code Mapping tab, those administrators can enable and set up mappings of resource code values to resource names in the proposal's direct rate table.

You can add existing resource codes and values from the Resource Code Library to any proposal. You can also create codes and values for a specific proposal on the Resource Code Mapping tab.

Resource Code Mapping
Enable Resource Code Mapping	Enabling the Resource Code Mapping feature in a proposal is optional. When it is enabled, you can use the other buttons and the mapping grid on this tab.
Add Resource Code	Add a resource code from the library to the proposal, or create a proposal-specific resource code.
Delete Resource Code	Delete a selected resource code from the proposal. Codes added from the library are deleted from the proposal only.
Apply Mappings	After setting up or changing a resource code mapping, click Apply Mappings to update it in the proposal.
Resource	This column shows the names of all resources in the proposal's direct rate table. Resource code values are mapped to these names.
Resource Codes	Each resource code added to the proposal appears as a separate column. The columns show which resource code values are mapped to the resource in the same row. Select a column header and click More Options to edit the code, delete the code, and add, edit, or delete code values. Double-click a cell and click Resource Code Values to assign code values to resources. Right-click a cell and click Delete Mappings to clear all mappings of values to a resource. The resource code values will still exist but will no longer be mapped.
