CER table

A cost estimating relationship (CER) is useful when multiple resources are needed for a task, and the work they do is somehow connected. CERs automatically spread the effort of derivative resources according to the overall effort of base resources in a task. For example, a simple CER could add a portion of hours for a supervisor whenever an engineering aide is added to a task.

CER tables provide the CERs you can add to tasks. A CER table must be generated in ProPricer Contractor Edition and then uploaded to BOE Pro in the Integration proposal settings. Once a table is assigned to your proposal, its CERs will be available in CER View.

Often in ProPricer CE, a derivative resource in a CER table will have a CER factor assigned to it. These factors are set up in a separate CER factor table. If your proposal's CER table uses CER factors, you should select an appropriate CER factor table in the Integration proposal settings. Otherwise, the CERs that have CER factors will appear in red as conflicted data in BOE Pro.

The Proposal dashboard has a Reprice with CER Data button, and there's a CER Update button in Summary View and the Pivot Grid. Clicking them updates the information you're viewing with the proposal's latest CERs.
