Update a proposal from a template

If the Workflow settings, RAM settings, or BOE Sections settings in a proposal template are applicable to multiple proposals, you can update each proposal from that template.

To update a proposal from a template, you must have the Administrator role in BOE Pro or be the proposal owner.

If a proposal already contains a BOE, you cannot update its BOE Sections settings from a template. Similarly, if workflow has already begun in a proposal, you cannot update its Workflow settings from a template.

1. In the navigation menu, click Proposals.
2. On the Proposals page, select a proposal, then click More Actions > Update from Template.
3. In the window that appears, select a proposal template.
4. Select what to update in the proposal. You can update the Workflow, RAM, and BOE Sections settings all at once, or you can select options individually.
5. To preview your changes before updating, click Preview. (Optional)
6. Click Update.
