Proposal settings
After creating a proposal, you must establish and maintain its framework with a variety of settings. If you use a template to create a new proposal, the template will provide the initial proposal settings. If you add a proposal from ProPricer Contractor Edition, the settings will not come from a template.
The proposal settings are grouped into tabs: Properties, BOE Sections, Integration, Configuration, Resource Code Mapping, Estimates, Workflow, Information, and Text. After selecting a proposal on the Proposals page, you can edit its settings.
Before working on a proposal's estimates for the first time, verify its settings. While some only describe the proposal and can be changed without affecting your work, others provide estimating data and determine how you enter information in the proposal.
In the proposal list, many columns are based on your proposal settings. If you have numerous proposals, try grouping them in the list by location, manager, direct rate table, etc.
